About Lab

Our laboratory was founded in 2020 within the creation of Institude of Hydrodynamics and Control Processes (IHCP) at SMTU.

We are located in offices no. 7 and 9 on the basement floor at Kronverkskiy avenue, 5 (Faculty of Marine Instrumentation and Ocean Engineering), St. Petersburg.

Our Projects

Most of our projects are based on the concept of a digital virtual multi-user environment — universal and scalable VR suite that includes both software and hardware modules.

Digital Virtual Multi-user Environment has passed the state software registration (registration certificate No. 2021662261 from 26.07.2021).

The concept effectiveness is proved by counting man-hours spent for the design, by minimizing delays when using various types of equipment, by reducing the load on equipment in a client-server approach, and an important point is a multi-user interaction with objects in real time, which allows contributing to the projects in this environment in the collaboration mode together with other specialists.

This concept has shown its flexibility in design solutions, easy scalability for creating projects and the ability to work with various equipment avoiding unnecessary loads.
